Hali Barnett is an American Contemporary artist from New York City. She mixes unorthodox materials such as sand, detritus and paper with paint to create interesting textural surfaces that depict her sensory, and spiritual expressions. She currently works and lives in Montauk, NY where she explores subjects such as plants, animals, and ancestral veneration.
